Today, we have prepare boxes of cakes with red eggs and ang ku kuen to distribute to friends and relatives for Janine's full month old celebration. Few of my auntie even came to my place to prepare foods for this happy occasion. Thumbs up to everyone.

Happy Birthday to you!
My little Princess, I have made it and its all worthwhile. Mummy have been waiting for your arrival after 38 long tiring weeks. Magically, having you in my arms makes me smile and thus forget all about my earlier labour pain that I been through. You are a priceless gift from god..

Heroes at Thomson Medical Centre

Right after my labour, Dr Ang place Janine into my arms for a photo take. I'm so glad that I have chosen him as my gynaecologist. His expertise and medical team have indeed make my birth ordeal a smooth and delightful one. Thank You.

Janine Ist Cry

Finally at 1301pm, Sunday 050409, Janine pop into this colourful world. She weights 3025g. I could hear her cries. Wawawa...Wawawa....

I'm now officially a mum and tears run down my cheeks uncontrollably as I cuddle her close in my arms for the very first time. From that moment on, I know that I will want to protect her always and be there for her. Hubby was so touched that he actually wept in front of us all. ( Love you Papa)

Earlier on, my ordeal was so much to bear that I cry out loud. As both midwives and my gynae knew how to handle my labour well, I did not ask for any enpidual jab to ease my intense pain. I was told to push hard each time my contraction comes along. Which I did. I really appreciate their advises and professionalism.

At Labour Ward

From yesterday afternoon 3.45pm sat till now 05 sun 8.02am , my dilation has come to 7cm. The graph on the left shows that my contraction is getting stronger and I was told that my gynae will come in at 10.00am. I'm so anxious and worried about the coming labour as I am expecting my first child. Thankfully my Hubby is with me. He sense that I am stress, and hence took out his camera and made me show up a victory sign. Yeh!

Right now, I'm in the ward touching my belly, chatting to my girl. Wondering if she is listening. So boring here, guess have to wait patiently for strong contraction to kick in. For now I just rest or watch television as labour will only begin when dilation is 10cm wide.

Routine Checkup @ TWC Sembawang

Sat 04 Apr 09 as schedule I went for my routine VE check. My gynae was surprise that my cervix is 4cm dilated and need to admit to TMC soon for labour within the next 24hrs. Oops I'm going to pop earlier by 2 weeks EDD 180409
